These days there are so many outlets for animation that just weren’t around twenty years ago - interactive and web industries, Visual effects, Computer games, architectural visualisation (archviz); each use animation in different ways and whilst there’s a commonality about what they want to see on a reel or a portfolio, there are differences too.

Come and hear from some of the companies that are always on the look out for new talent, and how you can best present your work. The session will be chaired by Saint John Walker, Head of Development at Skillset, The panel includes Wendy Bevan-Mogg, Talent Development Manager for Creative England, Marion Edwards, VP of Current Programming at HiT Entertainment, Simon Bor from Honeycomb Animation, director Steve Smith from Beakus the London based animation production company, a representative tbc from the leading film post production and digital visual effects experts the Moving Picture Company (MPC) and a director from Double Negative, the high profile visual effects company which have recently been working on Aardman's The Pirates! In An Adventure with Scientists.
