Information For Schools

For schools we provide Exploration Days in Exeter just before half term each February, a sort of sneak preview of the festival. The day includes a visit to our exhibitions, workshops linked to the exhibitions incoporating animation techniques and a screening of suitable animated films. Exploration Days are aimed at Key Stage 2and 3.

Our Youth Futures specialist workshops for budding young animators aged 14 and up, have an emphasis on higher education and careers. We also offer CPDfor staff interested in developing animation in the classroom or engaging with new animation software, especially for schools delivering Creative Media Diplomas. Youth Futures are aimed at Key Stage 4.

Information about our schools programme and year-round workshops goes out to schools in June and September, allowing them to include Animated Exeter in their schedule.
