Animation in the Classroom Wednesday 23rd June, Exeter, 4pm to 6pm

The event will include:

A Teacher’s Event with Animated Exeter at ISCA College of Media Arts

Animated Exeter, and Isca College of Media Arts are delighted to invite you to participate in this teacher event, sponsored by Stop Motion Pro. Aimed at teachers interested in bringing animation into the classroom, this event provides you with an exciting opportunity to look at creative and innovative approaches to education.Independent animators experienced in working with animation in education will be present to give demonstrations and guidance alongside software and training provider Academia.

• hands on demonstrations with experienced creative practitioners
• an introductory workshop using StopMotionPro v7 Action software
• a prize of StopMotionPro v7 Action for best animation created at the event
• an opportunity to purchase Animated Exeter’s Teachers Resource Pack (£15)
• information on how your class can benefit from a visit to Animated Exeter 2011
• a presentation of the ExAnimation competition for your school’s films
• an overview of what Animated Exeter is providing for 14-19 year olds in the region

Animation in the classroom is a FREE event, and will include light refreshments
