| I am delighted to welcome you to Animated Exeter 2003, Exeter's animation film festival with over 100 screenings and events. Animated Exeter is now a major part of the city's year round calendar of arts events and festivals promoted for residents and visitors to enjoy. The festival's ambition
is not only to bring the best of world animation cinema to the audiences
in Exeter, but also to showcase and encourage the wealth of creative talent
in the region, both amateur and professional. This has been realised over
the past four years through the collaboration with our partners, funders
and sponsors, and we would particularly like to thank South West Arts,
South West Screen, City Screen, Devon Curriculum Services, Land Securities
plc, local businesses, animation companies, artists and committed volunteers
for their continual support.
