Earlier this year Animated Exeter announced that this years festival would not take place. After over twenty fantastic years, the funding landscape changed and the festival was unable to attract the Arts Council Sponsorship it needed to fulfil it’s plans. After a shaky few months, Exeter College Faculty of Art & Design and Exeter Phoenix approached the council with the aim of keeping the festival alive. We are pleased to say that plans for the 2016 festival are already taking shape and we hope to have a full programme of exciting events back on the calendar. We are looking for new sponsors, partners and people who want to run events and showcase work etc. For more information either watch this space or get in touch.
