Young and Animated
Animated Exeter is supporting a group of young people (ages 8-18) who have expressed an interest in animation and have met through the festival. The festival aims to enable various activities through which the group can learn animation skills, meet animators, screen films and make their own films.
In 2009, the group collaborated on the Animated Exeter 2010 Trailer - it's fabulous, and will be up on the website tout suite.
Plans for 2010/2011 include an application to First Light for funding to enable a series of practical workshops aiming at producing a final film. We are kicking off these workshops with an ideas session over the Easter Holidays.
