ANIMATION EXPLORATION

For Animated Exeter’s school’s week,we are collaborating with both RAMM (Royal Albert Memorial Museum) and VUE cinema to give pupils and teachers the opportunity to experience exhibitions and screenings with linked animation workshops. RAMM’s Into the Lightexhibition of Impressionist and Post Impressionist painting will form the basis for our schools animation workshops and the animation screening will reflect on the themes from the exhibition. Guaranteed to inspire all learners, the exploration days provide pupils with a range of basic animation skills.

Group bookings are £9.00 per pupil for a full day. This fee includes both exhibition, workshop plus an Into the Light screening (30 pupils max). Animation Explorationis a great opportunity for learning beyond the classroom.

There will also be separate schools screenings throughout the week of Tate Movie Project’s The Itch of the Golden Nit, plus a collection of animated films from our under-18 competition The Young Ones.
