Second Light Animation Lab: a unique 3-day course for young people

The Second Light Animation Lab is a collaboration between First Light and
Animated Exeter offering a unique 3-day course for young
people to learn from animation professionals, for free, during Animated Exeter
2013.
The Animation Lab aims to support aspiring animators/ modelmakers in
learning the craft of model making. This opportunity is targeted at
self-motivated and self-achieving young creatives aged between 16-25
years and applications are especially welcome from those from diverse
backgrounds currently under-represented within the film industry.
There will be a series of sessions from modelmaker Gill Bliss, using case
studies, project work, discussions and practical exercises. The
participants will spend three days getting to grips with just what it
takes to be a model maker.
Each day will run from 10-4pm and participants must be available to
attend all 3 days. Lunch will be provided.
