The jury's comments:
A fantastic range of talent proving a challenge to select only one winner. Other very close runners were: Christopher Child's Jabbawocky, for it's ambition in the range of different animation techniques used. Buchlyvie Primary School's Paper Boat and St John's Primary School's The Big Splash were admired for their style. Laurilie takes a Bath by Mary Tavy and Brentor Primary schools - a funny simple idea. Granny Mac's Meringues from Burntisland Primary School was a close runner too.
The prolific and talented Joe Blandamer, who was just pipped this year, bowled the judges over not just with his obvious stop motion kills, but also his clever use of the simple visual gag.
