Exhibition: The Art of Brian Froud

Devon-based artist and conceptual designer Brian Froud is well known for his books, Faeries and Lady Cottington’s Pressed Fairy Book. His imaginative illustrations inspired Jim Henson (The Muppets) who hired Froud to collaborate with him on the film The Dark Crystal. On the set Brian Froud met Wendy Midener, a puppet designer, creator of The Dark Crystal’s Gelflings and Star Wars' Yoda.
The Dark Crystal will screen at Exeter Picturehouse on Fri 17 Feb with an introduction and Q&A by Brian and Wendy Froud.
