Animated Exeter has developed exciting and unusual opportunities for school pupils to take part in animated film and sound workshops. The workshops are all delivered by experienced tutors using professional animation equipment and target specific age groups. The nature of the projects and the equipment used means that for a rewarding and creative learning experience and a satisfying end product the group sizes are kept small.

OSMOSIS JONES (PG)
Director: Peter Farrelly, Bobby Farrelly, Piet Kroon, Tom Sito. USA 2001
Starring: Bill Murray
With the voices of: Chris Rock, David Hyde Pierce, Laurence Fishburne
Beginning with live action before plunging into beautifully drawn, inspired animation, OSMOSIS JONES is an extremely funny, sharp-scripted, gross-out fiesta. When a slobbish zoo worker (Bill Murray) eats an infected egg, it is up to white blood cell Osmosis Jones and cold relief tablet Drix to save him from the evil virus, Thrax. Using larger than life, retro-styled animation reminiscent of an episode of Duckman, the film revels in a barrage of visual gags which need several viewings to fully appreciate as the animators plunge us into the inner workings of the human body.
"Fantastic. From the whacked out production design to the genius
throwaway gags and insane characters, this may not be the a Simpsons movie,
but it's as near as dammit". EMPIRE
