This is a new competition open to all animators under 16.
There are two categories: under 16 and under 12. The cream of the
crop will be screened at the Exeter Picture House and we will provide
a certificate to all successful entrants whose work is selected
for screening.

Open to all Primary, Secondary and Special Schools in Devon.
Animated Exeter 2003 needs a specially created animation film trailer
to promote the festival. Throughout the festival the trailer will
be screened before the films at the Exeter Picture House. We want
children to design this trailer in a Storyboard format.
The winning entry will be professionally animated by students and
tutors at the Glamorgan Centre for Art Design & Technology.

Animated Exeter invites schools to enter a Storyboard
10 to 1 countdown.
The 5 winning will be invited to spend a day at the Media Education
Centre in Exeter with a professional animator to turn their Storyboard
into a 10 second film.
The short films will be screened at the 2004 festival between the
Animated Exeter Trailer and the main programme at the Exeter Picture
House.
